We are a small, ethnically diverse congregation with a sincere love for others. We are currently in the process of merging into a larger, multi-site church. How long have you been in business?
Skyline Baptist Church began as a Bible study in a private home in 1959. We were constituted as an independent Baptist church in 1961 and has been meeting continuously since that time. God has opened the doors for our small congregation to transition and become part of a larger, mulit-site church. More details will be shared as the transition process nears completion.
What is your primary product or service?
Skyline Baptist Church exists to love God, love others and serve the community and the world. We desire to help others love God and others by equipping and empowering them to follow Jesus, build community and unleash compassion.
How do you differentiate yourself from other businesses in your category and area?
Each church has a specific personality and make-up. Skyline is a small, intimate and genuinely loving community of believers in Jesus. We are a predominately older congregation, but love and accept all ages and would love to be able to share our life experiences and lessons with young families.
How many locations do you have and do you have plans to expand?
Skyline has always been located for our corporate services in one location. We have been blessed with a large facility and are partnering with a Spanish-speaking church by allowing them to meet in our facility as well. Our desire to be more effective in serving God has led us to seek to become a campus of another Baptist Church in El Paso with multiple campuses. We are looking forward to becoming one of four English-speaking campuses with this church that just launched a Spanish-speaking campus as well.

Skyline Baptist Church facility is located at 10061 Rushing Rd in Northeast El Paso. We are on the west side of Rushing in the middle of the block between Transmountain and Fairbanks, right next to Loop 375 north as it goes through Northeast El Paso.
What type of payments do you accept?
We currently receive contributions by cash and check at our church office and our worship service on Sunday mornings. Donors may mail contributions to the church office, and all donors will receive contribution statements in January of each year detailing the previous year's giving for income tax purposes. We do not currently provide the means for online donations, but this will change with our transition into a campus of another church.
Which areas do you service?
We seek to be of spiritual service to any who ask our assistance. Because we are a small congregation, our financial resources are severely limited and we are unable to do much in the way of benevolent assistance. We do maintain a clothing closet and seek to offer a monthly food and clothing distribution to persons and families in need on the second Saturday of each month.
Who owns your company or runs daily operations?
We are a Southern Baptist Church that is autonomously governed apart from any denominational control. Our pastor is available Monday - Thursday at the church office for daily operations.
What are your hours of operation?
The pastor is typically in the office Mondays - Thursdays after 10:30 a.m. and often available until around 5:00 p.m. As we do not have a church secretary in the office, you are encouraged to call (915) 755-0777 before coming to make certain our pastor is available.
What is the best compliment anyone can give you?
God has used you to meet spiritual needs in my life and to provide the support and strength to rely upon God more fully.

2 Chronicles 7:14 - "If My people, who are called by My name, shall humble themselves and pray and seek My face and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven, will forgive their sin, and will heal their land."
